CDM Coordination - Principal Designer & Client Advisor

We are able to take appointments as Principal Designer under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 – 'CDM' where the scope of project is relevant' (Our Compliance Report would indicate if this would be applicable).

We can provide advice to clients considering construction project to ensure that they have the correct management procedures in place to meet there obligations under CDM and to assist in general with health & safety implications to their business. This includes:

  • Advising Client of their duties under the regulations and assist in preparing arrangements for managing the project
  • Assist with assessment of designers and contractors competence
  • Advise on H&S information required
  • Carrying out the role of Principal Designer
  • Preparation of CDM documentation, including Pre-Construction Information and Health & Safety File
  • Advise on adequacy of Principal Contractor's construction phase plan
  • Assist in monitoring H&S performance
